Company History
Colling Accounting and Consulting Ltd. has been successfully operating in Hungary since 1992 by providing and administering quality financial accounting, payroll and cateteria-style benefits services. Colling has realized through 15 years of dynamic development that outsourcing services has the inherent potential to facilitate cost reductions and increase the effective operation of its clients' companies.
Due to continuous growth, Colling was converted into a limited liability company in 1997. In order to establish a quality assurance system for the accounting and payroll services, Colling became ISO 9001:2000 certified through SGS Yarsley Certification Services Ltd. in 2001.
In order to improve delivery of the company's services, new accounting software was obtained in 2002 from BMD Rendszerház (www.bmd.hu). Making the most of this sophisticated new system, an internet-based accounting service was also successfully implemented, enabling clients to make inquiries and print information and reports at any time from the client's own computer via an encrypted connection.
In 2004, Colling Ltd. opened a new subsidiary in Bratislava, Slovakia. Colling Slovakia's prime focus is in providing financial, accounting and human resources outsourcing services to medium-sized multinational companies.
The integrated SAP Business One management system was introduced in January 2006 to reinforce Colling's existing quality assurance system. This new system enabled an increase in the volume of service while simultaneously allowing for greater cost-effectiveness, a benefit that was passed on to clients.
The three main service departments at Colling are accounting, payroll, and cafeteria. The company currently has a staff of 25 employees of whom 20 are certified professionals. All staff members participate in regular internal training sessions - taxation and other professional development seminars - in order to keep their knowledge and expertise up-to-date. This means that they can then provide valuable analysis, advice and assistance to clients.
In addition, Colling Ltd. also hosts several lectures each year, called Colling Professional Days, for those clients who are interested in hearing updates about important new or changing tax and accounting regulations. The lecturers of these conferences are Colling's own knowledgeable senior accountants and tax advisors. On a more regular basis, newletters in English and Hungarian are written and published by our professional accountants and payroll clerks, and are available by subscribing online under the Newsletter heading. |
